The film CBGB is set to premiere at the CBGB's Music & Film Festival taking place in New York City October 9th through October 13th. CBGB chronicles the rise and fall of the legendary club that launched Talking Heads, Blondie, the Ramones and more and stars an ensemble cast: Alan Rickman as owner Hilly Kristal, Taylor Hawkins as Iggy Pop, Malin Akerman as Debbie Harry, and Mickey Sumner as Patti Smith. The screening of CBGB kicks off the five day festival October 9th at the Landmark Theater on East Houston Street and afterwards the feature will open at select theaters in North America.
