J Mascis is joining Mudhoney atop the Space Needle in Seattle this afternoon for a live performance. Today's event serves as the kickoff event for Sub Pop's Silver Jubilee celebration, which runs through July 13th. Today's historic performance will be broadcast live on KEXP starting at 3pm ET (noon PT). The broadcast is said to include both audio and video of the event. Set times (converted to Eastern Time) are as follows:

Meanwhile, earlier this week Dinosaur Jr announced they've teamed up with Skullcandy for a limited edition set of Dinosaur Jr headphones. According to the band:
