It's only taken decades, but Public Image Limited's debut album First Issue has finally been released domestically. The album was originally released in the U.K. in 1978 and was the first taste of what John Lydon was up to after the breakup of the Sex Pistols (a U.S. release was planned but then scrapped by their record label.) The classic album has been digitally remastered and is now available as a 2CD set which adds the rare b-side "The Cowboy Song," and a 56 minute unedited 1978 BBC audio interview with Lydon. The LP version includes the material on the CDs plus comes with an archive replica fold-out poster, set of stickers, and download card. The release is also available as a digital download (for download versions, the BBC interview is 'album only' download). Purchase from Light in the Attic Records, Amazon, or iTunes.
