On June 18th 1988, Depeche Mode played a show at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena to celebrate the 101st show of their Music For The Masses tour. The band partnered with Los Angeles station KROQ (who was celebrating their own 10th anniversary) and staged Concert For The Masses - a day long festival which also featured Wire, Thomas Dolby, and OMD as openers.
