Gary Numan appeared on the BBC Radio 6 program Radcliffe & Maconie on May 26th to discuss his forthcoming album Splinter. According to Numan, the album was completed last week and is a mix of anthems and ethereal sounds, though many of the tracks have an industrial feel to them. Numan, whose music has influenced countless industrial acts over the years, told the BBC hosts that it felt natural and like coming home to record industrial sounds for the album. Take a listen to the new track "I Am Dust," which Numan premiered during the BBC interview:
Numan's forthcoming album Splinter is scheduled for worldwide release on October 14th. Prior to the record release, Numan is hitting the road for a handful of live gigs in the U.S., then will be touring the U.K. after the album launch.
