Book of Love played their first live show since 2009 at the club Numbers in Houston on April 27th. Though the show was a one-off performance, it appears there's possibly more in the future for Book of Love. In an interview with the Houston Press, Ted Ottaviano explained that Book Of Love's synthy 80s sound is back in vogue and though the original band members had previously been busy with their lives and other projects, the time seemed right to get the band back together:
"Our lives were all in a place where we weren't interested (in re-forming...but now we're in a place where we might want to work on some new music."
