The Call announced they'll be reuniting for two shows in April. The shows are their first in twenty years and feature original members Scott Musick, Tom Ferrier, and Jim Goodwin. It probably won't be a huge surprise that Robert Been (from Black Rebel Motorcycle Club) is stepping in to sing vocals as a tribute to his dad (and original vocalist) Michael Been. Fans of both bands have likely heard BRMC's recent cover of the Call's 1989 hit, "Let The Day Begin." (For those who haven't heard the cover, stream it below and download it for free here.)
The live dates for the Call with Robert Been are listed below. For more info on the shows visit the Call on their official site.
April 18th: San Francisco, CA / Slim's
April 19th: Los Angeles, CA / The Troubadour
Black Rebel Motorcycle Club return with a new album Specter At The Feast on March 19th and hit the road for a North American tour in April and play St. Andrew's Hall in Detroit on May 10th. The full tour itinerary is posted on the official BRMC site (scroll down the page).
