Radiohead's debut album Pablo Honey was released 20 years ago today. The album is generally not considered one of Radiohead's finest moments by critics, but it arguably has some fantastic songs and helped pave the way for Radiohead's world domination.
Take a look at an early Radiohead performance filmed at the beginning of the touring cycle for Pablo Honey. The concert below was filmed at the Metro in Chicago on June 30th 1993 and includes some interview footage with Thom Yorke at the end:
Here's some more Radiohead live footage - the following series of videos are from a concert filmed April 3rd, 1995 - only a few weeks after the release of the band's second album the Bends and is one of the first live performances of their "new" songs in the U.S.
"Fake Plastic Trees"
"Street Spirit"
"My Iron Lung"
Note Yorke's comments before playing "Creep"- the band were clearly tired of playing "the hit" at that point...
