Morrissey has released another statement announcing the postponement of additional shows on his North American tour. The February 9th show in Las Vegas and February 10th show in Phoenix have been postponed and the tour now is scheduled to resume on February 12th in El Paso. Due to doctor's orders, the upcoming engagements with MORRISSEY in Las Vegas on Sat Feb 9 and in Phoenix on Sun Feb 10 will need to be rescheduled. MORRISSEY is currently undergoing treatment for a bleeding ulcer and Barrett’s esophagus. These shows are in the process of being rescheduled immediately and all patrons are encouraged to hold on to their tickets as the new dates will be announced within the coming days. MORRISSEY thanks everyone concerned for their well wishes during this time and hopes for a speedy recovery. The tour will resume as scheduled in El Paso at Tricky Falls on Feb 12.

Meanwhile, last week Morrissey announced the re-release of his 1989 single, "The Last Of The Famous International Playboys." Today further information on the release was revealed: the single will be issues on cd, vinyl, and as a digital download on April 8th. Each format will include a different b-side - each taken from a live BBC session recorded in 2011:
