Back in October Paul Westerberg announced he reunited with ex-Replacement Tommy Stinson to record a benefit ep titled Songs For Slim. According to the original report in Rolling Stone, the limited edition release features four songs (all covers) and will only be available via auction. Proceeds from Songs For Slim benefit Slim Dunlap (Replacements' ex-guitarist), who is recovering from a stroke he suffered in 2012. Songs For Slim doesn't have an official release date or tracklisting* as of yet, but the ep now has an official Facebook page which you can visit here. Via Consequence Of Sound.
