A commercial release for The Replacements' Songs For Slim has officially been announced - the ep will be released digitally on March 5th and on vinyl April 16th. The five song covers ep is the first material featuring Paul Westerberg & Tommy Stinson in many years (Chris Mars opted not to take part in the reunion, however he did record a cover of "Radio Hook Word Hit" by himself for Songs For Slim). The ep is a benefit for Slim Dunlap, the ex-Replacement who suffered a stroke in February 2012.
