Thom Yorke and Nigel Godrich appeared on BBC Radio 1 program with Zane Lowe this afternoon and debuted a new Atoms For Peace track called "Judge Jury & Executioner" from their forthcoming debut album Amok. Amok is set for release February 26th in North America and a day earlier internationally. Stream "Judge Jury & Executioner" below:
During the interview with Zane Lowe, Yorke and Godrich talked a bit about their plans for the future - live dates are part of their plan, but nothing has been organized as of yet. Lowe also asked Yorke briefly about his collaboration with Jack White (the collab took place at Third Man Records' studios before Radiohead's Bonnaroo gig last year). Yorke didn't have much to say about the collaboration other than it's part of "a mountain of stuff" that he still needs to finish.
In more Thom Yorke related news, Music Week is reporting Yorke signed a global representation deal with Kobalt. Kobalt will be handling the new Atoms For Peace album and some previously released solo material for Yorke. Nick Robinson, business developer for Kobalt has these glowing words to say about Yorke:
