The Waterboys' new album An Appointment With Mr. Yeats features the poetry of W.B. Yeats set to music composed by the Waterboys. The album was released internationally last year and it will finally be available in the U.S. on March 26th through Proper American. To prepare for the launch, Mike Scott from The Waterboys has announced a handful of promotional U.S. dates taking place next month. The dates feature Scott reading from his memoir Adventures of a Waterboy, followed by a 40 minute acoustic set with Waterboys fiddler Steve Wickham. The set will include songs from the new album as well as classics from the band's catalog. Take a look at the dates below plus watch a short interview with Scott explaining his love of Yeats and how the collaboration (of sorts) came about.
