Ahead of Morrissey's North American tour kickoff, another awesome Q & A session has been published. This time it was Billboard posing the questions. Billboard asked about his recent "superman" incident in a NYC bookstore and Moz replied:
"...the woman was having a mild stroke. That was obvious. I held her hand and spoke to her very gently. No one else seemed interested in helping her. I'd do the same for anyone...except Sarah Palin, of course."
Moz also was asked about his 1976 "Ramones Are Rubbish" letter to Melody Maker. He chalked it up to jealousy over the Ramones getting glory instead of the New York Dolls, and he actually really loves the Ramones:
"Three days after writing that Ramones piece, I realized that my love for the Ramones would outlive time itself."
He also briefly discussed his forthcoming autobiography, lack of record deal, and revealed if he could run up on stage and hug anyone, it would be Kirk Douglas. Read the full awesome interview here.
If you missed Morrissey's appearance on Fallon last night, watch the archive here. And posted below is a VERY up close vide of "Last Night I Dreamt Somebody Loved Me" shot by a fan at Moz's show in Singapore earlier this year.
