Peter Hook and his band The Light have been performing Joy Division albums in full on the road over the last couple of years. Hook is now upping the ante (and stirring the New Order cauldron) with this announcement on Twitter earlier today:

Update: Peter Hook has announced details for two shows where he'll play Movement + Power, Corruption & Lies in full. Tickets for both shows will go on sale September 25th:

January 18th @ Manchester Cathedral in Manchester
Meanwhile, Peter Hook is preparing to release his Joy Division memoir Unknown Pleasures - Inside Joy Division in the U.K. on September 27th. The book will be released in North America later this year - Amazon has a December 1st listing for the paperback and January 29th listing for the hardcover edition.
