Modern English played Cafe du Nord in San Francisco a few weeks ago as part of their eight-date tour of North America. The band debuted one new song "Moonbeam" and ended the set with their classic "I Melt With You." Before playing their biggest hit, frontman Robbie Grey told the crowd, "I'll tell you what, it pays the fucking bills," then launched into an almost 7 minute version of the song, complete with audience participation.
