Next week Mark Gardener and Robin Guthrie release their collaborative single, "The Places We Go." According to Creation and Guthrie's website, the single will be released July 9th through Soleil Apres Minuit and will be available digitally via "all good download services." While you're waiting for the official release, you might want to take a listen to a solo acoustic version Gardener played at a recent radio session in Seattle. More info and links to the radio session can be found here.
As previously mentioned, Mark Gardener is also busy with a new art/music collaboration called Hush Delirium, which features Anton Newcombe, Dean Garcia, Aziz Ibrahim, and Simon Welford. Welford was recently interviewed by When The Sun Hits and revealed more info on the Hush Delirium project in addition to discussing Ride, the shoegaze/dreampop genre, and the music industry in general. The interview is a very interesting read and is posted here.
