Yesterday, John Peel's massive record collection archive went live via interactive site, the Space.  Only a small portion of Peel's collection is archived (his entire collection is said to include over 25,000 vinyl albums and 40,000 singles) but there are tons of gems and rare tracks available to listen to.  Unfortunately you'll need a Spotify account to listen to most of the archives, but even if you don't, you can still flip through the mind blowing collection on the interactive site.

John Peel fans may also want to watch a 2005 BBC documentary about the legendary broadcaster which highlighted some of his most prized and valuable records in the collection.  The film features appearances by Jack White, Damon Albarn, Mark E.
