Iggy Pop was forced to self-release his new solo album after his record label Virgin/EMI declined to release it. Apres, Pop's collection of (mostly French) cover songs, is the sequel to the 2009 record Preliminaires and can be purchased digitally from iTunes or Amazon.
Watch two clips of Iggy Pop discussing songs on the album. In the first video Pop discusses "La Javanaise," a song originally written and recorded by Serge Gainsbourg in 1962. The second video is about "La Vie En Rose," a song made famous in 1946 by Edith Piaf.
