Pitchfork recently interviewed Kevin Shields from My Bloody Valentine, who revealed he's working on new MBV material:
"I've always said that we were going to make a record again. You never know, we might finish it really quickly, and it might be up in a few months! I tend to work really quickly, suddenly, and I might be willing to do that right now. We'll see!"
Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight. I'll believe it when I see it, Kev. Read the full interview with Kevin Shields in The 'Fork.
My Bloody Valentine are reissuing Isn't Anything, Loveless, and the compilation EPs 1988-1991 in the U.K. on May 7th. Fans in the U.K. can pre-order all three releases here, here, and here, while fans in the U.S. can only pre-order EPs 1988-1991 right now. The other two releases should be available for fans in the U.S. to pre-order shortly, and I'll post links when they are ready to go. Please note, at this time it appears the reissues will only be released overseas (which means import pricing for U.S. fans). This COULD change and they MAY get released domestically, so if you want to wait it out, go for it.
