Yesterday the online edition of the Philippine Star published an exclusive email interview with Morrissey.  Most of the interview centered around animal rights and vegetarianism, but the paper did question Morrissey about his forthcoming autobiography.  Unfortunately, Morrissey sort of skirted the question:

Q: What can we find in the 660 page autobiography that you're putting out soon?  How's your book about James Dean?

A: "When I was 19, I wrote an essay on James Dean called James Dean is not Dean, which was unfortunately published as a very slim book, but re-titled James Dean is not Dead.  Very, very, very embarrassing for me.  I curl up and die whenever I think of it.  Rightly so."

And that all folks--no further discussion of the book!  Despite no real update on the autobiography, Moz fans should find the rest of the interview interesting, so head over to The Philippine Star.
