Happy Birthday, Mike Ness!
Ness formed Social Distortion in 1978, and though the band hit a few snags over the years they're still active today (they're about to launch a new round of touring in a few days). It wasn't an easy road for Ness, who famously struggled with drug addiction (he's been clean now for years) and problems with the law, but he's always emerged on top and is commonly cited by current bands as a major influence.
Celebrate Mike Ness and his amazing career by watching some classic interview and performance footage from over the years.
