The Guardian published an interview with Damon Albarn today titled Damon Albarn: Gorillaz, heroin, and the last days of Blur. You might gather from the title that it might not be good news for Blur fans, and you're right. Brace yourself:
Albarn was asked if there will be any more Blur records to which he responded, "No, I don't think so," and also said it was unlikely the band would play live again after their Hyde Park gig this summer.
Wait though, it gets worse because Albarn also said that Gorillaz are pretty much done with too, saying new Gorillaz music would be "unlikely," due in part to some kind of falling out he had with band member Jamie Hewlett.

Your only consolation is that Albarn is continuing to make music and will release his debut solo record Dr. Dee on May 8th. Check out the video for the first single, "The Marvelous Dream."
