The Cure have revealed details about their "Friday I'm In Love" 7 inch Record Store Day release. The single, which is part of the Special 7'' charity project, will be available as VERY limited edition release--only 100 copies of the single will be available. Each copy will feature an individually designed record sleeve, created by artists from around the world, and one of the sleeves was even designed by Robert Smith himself!
Starting April 17th, all 100 individual sleeves will be on display at Idea Generation Gallery in East London, then on Record Store Day the singles will be sold on a first come first served basis for a minimum donation of 40 pounds (~ 60 dollars U.S.) All proceeds go to Teenage Cancer Trust, a charity helping teens who are fighting cancer.
