The Rockabye Baby lullaby series was created a few years ago in an effort to find music to play for children/infants that parents* would really enjoy too. L.A.'s Silver Lake label found a way to do just that--they took classic songs from classic artists, covered them in a lullaby style, and released them as full cds. The Rockabye Baby catalog is mammoth-- everyone from The Beatles and Rolling Stones, to U2, Radiohead, and The Cure have their own cd featured as part of the series. Shockingly, somehow The Smiths were never included. Until now.Rockabye Baby - Lullaby Renditions Of The Smiths will drop on April 24th. You'll be able to soothe those crying moments (whether it's the baby or YOU) with "This Charming Man," "There Is A Light That Never Goes Out," "Last Night I Dreamt That Somebody Loved Me," and even "Heaven Knows I'm Miserable Now."
