Orbital are teaming up with Public Image Limited to launch Record Store Day in the U.K. on Monday. Record Store Day is April 21st, but a big party featuring live sets by both acts are intended to help create excitement and awareness of the annual event. The "secret" P.I.L./Orbital gig takes place Monday night in a town called Shoreditch and interested attendees have been urged to email requests to be put on the guest list. The show will be webcast on the U.K. Record Store Day site, but it's unknown whether the 'cast will be geoblocked to those elsewhere in the world.
Public Image Limited are releasing One Drop ep for Record Store Day and will follow it up with the full length This Is P.I.L. on May 28th.
