For those keeping track, Peter Hook has been on the road playing classic Joy Division records while New Order have been busy playing gigs of their own. On Friday, the very same day New Order played their highly profile gig at Ultra Music Festival in Miami, Hooky announced the cancellation of his 2012 tour of Australia and New Zealand. Coincidence? Peter Hook & The Light have unfortunately been forced to postpone their upcoming dates across Australia and New Zealand in April 2012 due to production circumstances which were beyond the band's control.
Hooky & The Light would like to apologise for the inconvenience and disappointment of the thousands of fans who had purchased tickets in advance for their second visit to the continent and we are hopeful that the dates are to be rescheduled for late 2012 or early 2013.
The band would like to thank all our Antipodean friends for their continued support and we look forward to having the opportunity to play for you again soon.
