Edinburgh's The Machine Room will drop an ep titled Love From A Distance on March 5th. Sonically I'd describe them as a more upbeat, dancier type of dreampop. They've also been described as Edinburgh's version of The Smiths which I don't think accurately describes them, though it's a fun comparison. It doesn't really matter how to label the band, just LISTEN to them. I was drawn into the Machine Room after hearing only the first 30 seconds of EP opener "The Cost Of Progress."
