Falco, R.I.P.

Falco, the Austrian musician who brought us 80's classics, "Der Kommissar" and "Rock Me Amadeus" died on this day (February 6th) in 1998 after being involved in a motor vehicle accident.

Contrary to popular belief the German singing Falco DID not record the English version of "Der Kommissar" that MTV played all the time. The English version was a cover by the U.K. band After The Fire.
