The Wedding Present has announced dates for a 2012 North American tour. According to a press release from the band, they'll be celebrating their cd Seamonsters on tour and will play the 1991 record in its entirety live. In addition they'll also play some new material from their forthcoming new cd which is scheduled to drop in March. The Wedding Present has also covered The Smiths' "Hand In Glove" for the forthcoming tribute Please Please Please: Tribute To The Smiths. The double disc collection was originally supposed to be released in September, then it was pushed to October, and now it's scheduled for a December 13th release on American Laundromat Records.
