Stage collapse

A storm was to blame for a stage that collapsed this afternoon at the Ottawa Bluesfest in Vancouver. According to reports, Cheap Trick had been about 20 minutes into their set when the stage collapsed, leaving one injured. Luckily no one was trapped underneath the stage and organizers were able to evacuate the area. Death Cab For Cutie had been scheduled to play after Cheap Trick, however due to the nature of the situation, the rest of the evening's events have been canceled.
